TOWN OF WASHINGTON — The man killed Friday afternoon after his tractor overturned, pinning him beneath it, was Raymond W. Korn.

Korn, 79, was pulling a hay baler and partially loaded wagon along Ray Korn Road south of Hwy. H in eastern La Crosse County when the tractor veered from the road and overturned at about 3:30 p.m.

A sheriff’s deputy patrolling the area discovered the overturned tractor, and the deputy and family members used another tractor to free him, but Korn was pronounced dead at the scene.
