I attended a Memorial Day service on Monday, May 26, and a Vietnam War protest song was sung — shame!

These veterans were dishonored upon returning home and are now further dishonored in death — shame!

Just what kind of leadership is there in Post 51? Memorial Day is not to dishonor the dead.

" just can't refrain from pushing their own opinions in even where it is totally inappropriate. If the song has been described as a protest song, it had no place at this service. If it might offend any vet, it should not have been played. "

" Blowin' in the Wind" is a song written by Bob Dylan, and released on his 1963 album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. Although it has been described as a protest song, it poses a series of philosophical questions about peace, war, and freedom without supplying concrete answers. The refrain "The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind" has been described as "impenetrably ambiguous: either the answer is so obvious it is right in your face, or the answer is as intangible as the wind".[1] The song makes no reference to a specific event.
